The Best of The Firemaker
New book on The Firemaker series by Larry Homan
Edited and compiled by John Eric Drewes

Back in the olden, golden days of yesteryear (1996-2001) lived a brave young prophet of pyrotechnics. Our valiant hero invested countless hours and pounds of sweat and tears trying to perfect the art of pyrotechny. Additionally, he took copious notes, and tirelessly produced a series of publications documenting his battle with the breaks — both the good and bad. That publication was titled "The Firemaker"  Sadly, this series never achieved the fame it deserved. UNTIL NOW!

A total of 21 issues, each between 48 and 64 pages in length, were produced. We found these deep in the archives and then whittled down the contents to 240 pages of "The Best of The Firemaker"

Included in the book you will find:

· Formulas not previously found in print

· Crossette shells, 7 part series

· Aerial shells design and building—4 parts

· Building an 8" chrysanthemum shell

· Mantsuna Mistery effect shells

· Salutes

· Comets

· Proximate Pyrotechnics

· Components to shell building

· Casing construction—in-depth

· Finish pasting methods

· Many reverse engineering of 1.4g fireworks

· Star Making

· Color combinations

· Advice for beginners

· And much, much more
