On November 20, 2008, off the coast of Dubai, Fireworks by Grucci launched the largest and most technologically advanced pyrotechnic display the world has ever seen. The theatre was equally impressive as the display was fired fro 408 balconies and 36 rooftop locations on the opulent Atlantis Palm Hotel, 50 locations along the entire silhouette of the crescent, 41 locations along the trunk, and 246 floating platforms to outline the palm leaves of the world's largest manmade island, the Palm Jumeirah.

For fourteen days a team of over 250 pyrotechnicians worked to prepare the precision display, which would launch over 250,000 specially designed pyrotechnic shells, comets and mines in less than 9 minutes!

On this night a world record was set.
